Activate Bitdefender with an Activation Code in Bitdefender Central
Redeem Bitdefender codes inside Bitdefender Central, then install protection from the subscription attached to the account.
Bitdefender activation is account-centered. If you bought a retail or third-party activation code, redeem it in Bitdefender Central first and install from that account afterward.
Official activation path
Open Bitdefender Central, sign in, go to My Subscriptions, and choose the option to activate with a code. Bitdefender’s official guide describes this Central-based flow for activation codes.
Install after activation
Once the subscription appears in Central, use Central to install protection on the current device or send the installation link to another device.
Do not skip account ownership
The subscription belongs to the Bitdefender Central account where it is redeemed. For customers, use their account, not a reseller or technician account.
